1. Organize your workspace
Whether you are the receptionist who is required to ensure the front desk is clean and well-organized or you are a copywriter whose documents are labeled in specific folders. The first thing you would do to stay productive at work is maintaining the level of cleanliness and organization of your workspace no matter what job you are doing.

2. Keep track with all your schedule
If you are at a management position, you must be familiar with having at least of these things like your checklists, to do lists, calendars are marked with appointments, meetings, important tasks. Keeping your flow of works and pinpointing your goals ahead are not limited to management jobs only. Practice doing these things while you are a students in high school or college may help you achieve bigger goals in your future careers.

3. Always prepare your work content
Ensure you are on the right track at tackling your tasks daily, weekly and monthly. You can list ahead everything you need to achieve within a period of time and arrange to complete it ahead of time. There are several small little tasks that can be done at once when you compress them together instead of doing one by one everyday. That could save a lot of time so instead of finishing your online coding class within a month like the audited the syllabus schedule, you could do that within 2 weeks. The amount of time you save can be used to complete multiple other tasks.
4. Utilize online project management tools
There are plenty of supporting tools online to remind and keep track such as Later and Planoly for social media creator to set up and schedule posts on different platforms. Notion is also a good example of project management and organization work software, available for PC and smartphone device. Office workers and individual freelancers also look for Evernote, Figma, Trello, etc. These tools can save you a lot of time from writing tasks on paper. They can be optimized on web browser tab as an extension so it is convenient to have it remind you about what to do next.
5. Motivate yourself by rewards
Human brains are motivated to do more by reciprocation. You can trick your brain to be more excited towards your daily task by treating yourself a cup of coffee or your favorite snack after every section. This action boost your level of dopamine and stimulate your brain to produce more. This metric works well when you do physical exercises as well. Stop every 5 to 10 minutes break to regenerate your muscles’ energy and drink water before coming back. You will receive better results after repeating a few times.
6. Do not overwork yourself
Even though you would like to complete all or most of your workload ahead of time like mention in number 3, you should not overwork yourself to exhaustion. Make sure you save time to relax and give your brain time to recharge for the next day. Be careful not to fall into a repeating loop of exhausting day after day.
7. Prioritize your goals
You will always have small tasks, bigger tasks and more important tasks to accomplish. Sometimes, your boss and manager can give you more pressure of time to finish them. Therefore, knowing how to prioritize the most significant things to complete first helps you become that productive worker. Avoid overlook the critical tasks or not spend enough of time dedicated to them. Paying attention to details is the good thing to do but try not to sink yourself too deep and waste time you could spend on others. Having a good vision about what need to achieve can help you avoid mistakes and stress.
Remember productivity is not doing more and more thing, it is about doing more quality job within less time. As much as keeping yourself working hard and achieving goals, you should not sacrifice your health and time with family over over work. It can backfire on you. Keep a work life balance schedule and follow strategically along to built up your productivity everyday.
